Ok, so this is far more important that my politically themed first post, so I'm gonna devote my second to something far more shocking and devastating...
DAVID TENNANT IS LEAVING DOCTOR WHO!
Granted it's old news for the internet-savvy types, but I only found out on Friday, just before I flew out to Melbourne... and that's a whole other post!
Now, aside from my personal preference for David as The Doctor, the main factor here, as has been discussed before is, who can top David Tennant? The sole man voted above Tom Baker as the best Doctor in Doctor Who Magazine, is there an actor out there who can do it? And let's not get started on the idea of a female Doctor! It was done well once, and that was a comedy sketch!
I dunno if I wanna say much else, I think I'm still in shock!
Let's just hope that for David's final 5 hours as the Best Doctor yet, Russel T Davies doesn't fuck up the scripts!

I can remember that exact moment in time I found out. It was a monday around 2 ish when I was at TAFE with Mathew and my friend sent me a devestated txt msg and when I got home I had 5 different links to a few youtube addresses of his announcement on that awards ceremony.
They better be bloody good scripts for next year & whoever they get has BIG shoes to fill. I reckon a lot of people may hate this new doctor/it will never be the same... but hopefully they get someone awesome.
WHY DAVID WHY? He was such a great doctor.
